Campaigns: The Basics

Learn everything you need to know about the Campaigns object in Kadince

Summary

The Marketing Module in Kadince offers three distinct objects that can help you track and manage your marketing endeavors and their compliance/approval processes. One of these objects is called Campaigns.

In the Campaigns object, you'll find a one-stop-shop dashboard that displays all your Marketing Campaigns determined by your date driver in the top left. Campaigns are essentially a grouping of Marketing Projects.

Campaigns can be a crucial organizational tool if you are an institution that likes to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

In this article, we'll cover everything you need to know about the Campaigns object in Kadince!

The Marketing Campaigns Dashboard

The Marketing Campaigns Dashboard is your first stop when interacting with your Campaigns object. The dashboard shows critical data related to campaigns within the chosen date operator in the top left. If you're not seeing data you've entered into Kadince, chances are that you just need to choose the appropriate date operator.

In the top right, you can click the cog wheel () icon to switch your view between Status and Categories.

The Campaigns dashboard shows three sub-tabs:

  • Active Campaigns: shows which Campaigns are currently active

  • Pending Tasks: shows all pending tasks related to Campaigns

  • Categories: shows your campaigns by category, determined by the date driver

  • Goals: view goals related to your Marketing Campaigns

How to Print from the Marketing Campaigns Dashboard

Click the print () button in the top right corner to select what you want to print, including Top Charts/Numbers, the Active Campaigns Tab, the Pending Tab, and the Categories Tab.

You can also navigate to the Campaigns dashboard and click on any of the relevant graphs (making sure your date driver coincides with your data) and access your submitted data via the canned report.

You can Activate or Deactivate a Campaign by clicking the toggle in the top left corner of the detail view.

Deactivating a campaign does not remove any currently associated requests, projects, or tasks. Deactivated campaigns cannot be associated with requests or projects if they are not already associated.
